Johannesburg enjoys a very favourable climate, which is dry and sunny most of the year round. Winter days are only slightly cooler than the pleasant summer average temperatures but it can become frosty on winter nights and early morning – no central heating, so bring warm clothes

Public Transport
Not as well-developed as in European or Western Countries, most travellers who arrive by air will require an airport shuttle; hire car or Uber to their ongoing destinations. Please note that you need to be at the airport 2hours before. Should you wish to be collected from the airport, your guest house will always be able to assist at a lower cost. There are many Car Rentals with International brands operating from the airport and the Gautrain station
The Gautrain
The first public city to city rail link system safe and efficient, bring together Pretoria and Johannesburg and other areas on the first phase – the second phase is being planned to make it even more accessible to different areas. Driving
Would need an international license. We drive on the left of the road. Our roads are well marked and sign posted in English. Fuelling is easy and there are many Fuelling stations and they are really helpful with good service. Please note that only visa cards and local cards are accepted at fuelling stations, no other foreign cards. ZAR Cash is also accepted. However for local trips and long stays, self-drive is a good option particularly if you have GPS or access to Google Maps on your phone
